ASPIRE TO INSPIRE

ASPIRE TO INSPIRE.

Many fall into the trap of doing things simply for the money. Work becomes a burden and your life becomes miserable day after day. Somehow there will come a time when you stop and wonder where you’ve gone wrong with your life and why you feel so empty. Your daily tasks begin to seem aimless and pointless all the same. This happens when you lose sight of your goals. You may have been doing things for the wrong reasons.

WE ARE CONNECTED

I have said this many times over, “No man is an island.” When you do things simply to provide yourself your own needs and wants, deep inside there is that feeling of selfishness that develops. When we detach

ourselves from others and simply focus on earning our keep, we neglect the chance to connect with others. If we treat others simply as acquaintances rather than friends, we miss the chance to create the relationships that we need for a fruitful and happy life. You and your actions affect others, and their actions can affect you too either positively or negatively.

SET YOUR PRIORITIES

When we value material things over people, we are definitely going in the wrong direction. Yes, you need money. And, yes, it is okay to strive hard to achieve your goals in life. But remember, you are a human being and not a machine. You have needs beyond food, shelter, and clothing. You need family and friends to support you and love you as you go through the ups and downs of life. Many important things will come up day after day, but never forget to put your family as your first priority.

LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR

I also believe that everyone we meet has a role to play in our lives. Each one is sent to you for a reason. Some people you meet are meant to challenge you. Some people are meant to test you. Some are meant to make you laugh and smile. Some are meant to hate you. Some are meant to love you. And some are meant for you to love. Whichever person they are, you should learn to love everyone you meet. Do everything you do out of love because life can be unpredictable. You do not know which person might lend you a helping hand during the time you need it the most. You also do not know who among those you meet will encourage and help you become a better person. Love everyone…even your enemies (hahahaha, I know that can be really difficult) Give it a try and u will make your enemy lose the battle and feel stupid.

REACH OUT AND HELP

When given the chance, reach out to make a difference. Get involved in something meaningful, like a project that you really believe in or a cause that would really help someone in need. You can volunteer to help provide a daily food program for the homeless or prayer sessions for the sick in hospitals or collecting school packs for orphanages during your spare time. If you are too busy, you can simply make a donation to the organization of your choice. Doing something for the needy lessens the feelings of guilt as you continue to work and earn for yourself. By giving a bit of your time or money, you gain a sense of selflessness. And trust me, doing good for others feels great!

BE AN INSPIRATION

Lastly, actions speak louder than words. Always do what you think and know is right. Work with dignity and keep your morals in mind and heart. Be an inspiration to all those who witness your deeds, and even if you do not do any charity work, by simply living a righteous life and being a good example to others as well as being a good neighbor will give you a sense of completion and accomplishment as you go about your daily tasks.

In our own little way we can make the world a better place. Nothing done or given with your heart is small.

THANKS FOR READING AND HAVE A NICE DAY Y'ALL.
STEPHY
